For all heavy metal music fans, if you have not yet heard of Roadrunner Records and their artist listen up. Coming out of the Netherlands in the early 80s, they made their launch by bringing the metal sounds of America to Europe. They are now an international record label company with offices dotted across the globe, in all major industrial countries. This is the label that brought the first releases of Metallica into the northern Scandinavian region. They started hosting bands that were featured on the Billboard Top 200 albums and now rock the top of the charts. In mid-2008, Roadrunner labels was voted as the BEST METAL LABEL, which it has won consecutively for the last 4 years.

One of Roadrunner’s latest successful artist, Trivium, started out as a high school band that caught eye of the producers. Trivium the band is an American metal band that was formed in 2000 out in Orlando, Florida. They cut their first ablum debut on the Roadrunner Records with the 2005 Ascendancy album. Since that time, they have released 4 studio albums, 10 singles, and 11 music videos. Trivium music can now be heard and witnessed at major music festivals including the auspicious OzzFest and the upcoming Free Bird Live in Jacksonville, Florida.
Trivium is an old Middle Ages word for introductory curriculum at the lower division of a medieval university involving seven liberal arts that includes grammar, rhetoric, and logic.
Trivium albums quickly rose to success and recently completed their newest album Shogun with producer Nick Raskulinecz in an effort to bring back the screaming and include more thrash and raptors. This album feature unique and original sounds that can only be described as Trivium. The album reached number 1 status on UK Rock Charts and 23 on the Billboard 2008. The release date coincided with other major bands so despite the stiff competition, Trivum was still able to hold their own.
