18 April 2008 OkiZoo will teamed up with WAR Records & Electro Booking to present “Rave On” with support from Smirnoff. The Party will be Hosted by Mc Trix One (OkiZoo) dropping rhymes all night long for all the Dj’s and Party People. Also the Party will feature Live graffiti art show by Alex and a Photo Exhibition by Chardchakaj Waigawee from the Loser Company (Filmer & Director of Trix One music video Walk On Flames). The DJ’s are MSD (Electro & Break Mash Up & Owner of War Records), Murk One (Garage), IK (Dub Step & Drum n Bass), Top (Hip-Hop) And Tay (Electro).

“Rave On” is at Club Escudo, Thonglor Sukhhumkit Soi 55 take the elevator to the 4th floor of the Dutchess Plaza (Ask any taxi to take you to ThongLor Soi 15 near Villa Market). Half-pub, half-club, Escudo is two floors of sick interiors and pumping sounds. Slap-bang in the city’s happening hub of Thonglor, fresh-faced local hipsters come here to sip whiskey, dance and hang out. The first floor DJ’s spin mostly mainstream hip-hop, while upstairs is more house-music driven. Very, very busy on weekends. Escudo Club, the oh-so-hi-so club on Thonglor is now back after eight months of renovation and a big 10 million baht envelope to cover its new interactive technology.The tables were more interesting: colorful lasers play off the glasses, connecting them and surrounding them with beams of light. Escudo may activate more of their interactive tricks soon, such as interactive games and inter-table messaging.

Alex, Bon and Hey local Bangkok graffiti artists completely bombed the whole scene of the new Coca-Cola commercial filmed on Petchburi Soi 39, Bangkok, Thailand (Famous Soap Land Area). This Coca-Cola commercial will be shown in Australia and some other international locations, to check out the video go to the Coca-Cola website and stay tuned for the video release on BKK RAW Video Magazine…

Listen graff heads… This location is completely insane, so huge it would even make SABER give props to Alex, Bon, and Hey… (SABER painted “the world’s largest graffiti piece” on the concrete banks of the Los Angeles River.)

It was a hard three day job for the local Bangkok writers, the task at hand was to cover an old Theater building in graffiti, They were handed a concept to design an angel coming down to refresh the world with Coca Cola in an urban environment. Alex got the call from Coca cola to do the Job for 90,000 baht and that’s about $2,848.19 which equal money in the bank and an unlimited supply of paint cans. What else can a graffiti artist ask for, permission to express there self freely and a whole building as a canvas…

The reggae and dancehall beats were craftily laid down by headlining Japanese DMC DJ Champion and World Finalist, DJ Hanger, along with the help some of Thailand’s best battle DJs; Spider Monkey, DJ Ma and DJ JunOkizoo’s very own MC Trix One was on hand accompanied by MC M.J. to rev up the joint and flaunt their skills.The night brought some of the best live routines we’ve seen in while here in Bangkok. Hanger performed some tight beat scratching and some damn fast beat juggling to go with it. Spider Monkey, Ma and DJ Jun all did their part equally well with the highlight of night having to be the ‘four man turntable band’ where each DJ took turns in adding their own flavor to an improvised beat……heavy stuff for real.Check Out More Photos Below.
